Borderlands
Borderlands is an open world first person shooter from Gearbox Software and 2K Games. Borderlands was inspired by the awesome Mad Max film series and the Blizzrd game Diablo, it makes me think of FallOut3 blended with Left 4 Dead with a touch of WoW.

This FPS RPG title can be played single player or co-operativly. Players choose from one of four characters each with their own unique character class and special abilities. You charactor will level up through experience just like any other rpg and with the co-op play players can assist each other to fight the good fight. The beauty of Borderlands though is its random game play element along with 160 quests of varying length and complexity, 30 of these being part of the story and the other 130 as side quests. Many of these quests will not be mutually exclusive, and can be completed together. Gearbox wants to encourage the player to push themselves just a bit further to complete the next quest on their list. Each quest carries its own rewards, such as new weapons, or perhaps revealing a new piece of the story.

The Story
Future colonists journey to Pandora, a planet on the edge of the galaxy. Their drawn to this planet in search of a better life and the prospect of striking it rich by claiming the vast deposits of mineral resources. After arriving, they discover the planet is barren of anything of significant value other than deteriorated alien ruins scattered across the land. Those who can afford to do so leave Pandora, and those who remain devolve into chaos and lawlessness. Some settlers seek to get rich by discovering alien technology, but most are just trying to survive. After seven years, Pandora's orbit brings it to the transition from winter to spring, and many horrifying creatures emerge from hibernation. The colonists discover a mysterious vault carved in the side of a mountain that contains vast stores of alien technology and secrets. However, the people who discovered the vault were completely wiped out by some sort of protective force, and the only evidence of their discovery is a scattered radio transmission proclaiming the vault's majesty, but not its location.

Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 2
This is the latest installment and second chapter to the Modern Warefare series. Modern Warfare 2 continues the action as players face off against a new threat dedicated to bringing the world to the brink of collapse and the end of the world blah blah blah...
You play as Sgt. Gary "Roach" Sanderson, who's a part of an international squad of elite soldiers battling through combat scenarios that range from snowy mountaintops in Siberia to the crowded streets of Rio de Janiero, Brazil and beyond. There's vehicles and new weapons in this new title so hopefully it doesn't get boring while facing and pwning the terrorist forces. Players can face the threat alone or with other players in cooperative SpecOps mode. Of course like the previous Call of Duty games, you can play online against foes in enhanced deathmatch warfare on a host of Modern Warfare 2 maps. I just hope the vehicles, artillery, and helis don't ruin the gameplay, but we'll see!

Fallen Earth is the latest take on Post Apocalyptic survival! Fallen Earth mixes 1st person shooter action into a role-playing game design. Set in the year 2156 around the Grand Canyon area, Fallen Earth explores a post-apocalyptic universe in which players must craft, trade, and scavenge through the wastelands of the American Southwest. Unraveling the mysteries of the deadly Shiva virus, the mysterious GlobalTech mega-corporation plans, and dealing with survivors that all thirst for power and dominance over this new world. There'll be 6 factions of humans competing to survive against each other and the mutated creatures of the land. Some will try to rebuild the land and humanity while some will try destroying it, this is going to be one hell of a fun time!

Red Faction: Guerrilla will be the third installment to the Red Faction series. The game play and abilities have taken a huge leap forward and will be played in a third person perspective unlike the previous editions. Also, it'll will now include online multiplayer with various game styles such as Capture the Flag and Deathmatch.

Red Faction: Guerrilla takes place on the planet Mars in 2125, 50 years after the events of the first Red Faction. You play as character, Alec Mason, a rebel miner seeking revenge of his brothers death and to stop the evil enslaving organization, The Earth Defense Force. The game is to have an open world environment with fully destructible environments. Utilizing a wide variety of weapons and dozens of vehicles, including jet packs, you'll fight for freedom for the Red Faction with only one moto, "Better Red than Dead".

Tomb Raider Underworld, is the eighth game in the Tomb Raider series and the third game in the series to be developed by Crystal Dynamicsh. This new title has been vastly improved and will surely blow your socks off!!

Some differences from the previous iterations are that Lara's environment will be an "interactive world that reacts and remembers!" Footprints left in the mud, or mud transferred to Lara's knee from kneeling on the ground will be washed away by rain, bodies of the foes she encounters will remain where she killed them, and any destruction to the environment she causes will be permanent. Lora is now able to make approximately 2,000 different motions making her more lifelike that ever before. This game is now available for almost all platforms like: PS3, PS2, PC, XBOX360, Wii, and DS.

Blizzard's latest expansion to WOW,Wrath of the Lich King, will be available November 13th. This new expansion adds a host of content to the existing game that'll be sure to suck you mmorpg'ers further into its fantasy world. Gamers will be able to achieve more levels of power, explore the new continent, and battle other high-level heroes to determine the fate of Azeroth.

This expansion is packed with tons of new features, here's a few of them:

Death Knight, WOW's first Hero Class
- LVL 80, increase your characters quest level with new abilities
- Northend, the new continent
- Inscription, a new profession
- Improved graphics, finally this old game has a graphics update
- New fractions Speartusk, Frenzyheart, The Oracles, and Taunka
- New dungeons and creators
- New character customizations including new hair style and dance

As a part of our continuing efforts to support the MOD community, we will begin hosting selected MODs directly on Steam starting next week. The first five MODs to ship on steam will be Age of Chivalry, D.I.P.R.I.P., Insurgency, Synergy, and Zombie Panic. As always, owners of any Source game will be able to download and play all of these MODs for free.

Once installed, these MODs will appear in your "My Games" list and will receive automatic updates just like other games on Steam. Also, these MODs now take advantage of Steamworks, which provides stat tracking and tighter integration with the Steam community.

We're excited to see MOD developers get wider recognition for the hard work they have done, and we hope to support more MOD teams in the future. Watch for the official release next week!

From the creators of the original ATV Offroad Fury and MotoGP, Black Rock Studios whom are now part of Disney Interactive Studios has stepped up big time with this latest title. This game gives you real-world locations, photo-realistic graphics, customizable quads, rider control authenticity, heart-pounding speed, and multiple game modes with online multi-play with up to 16 players! This game is unlike any of their past racing titles and has brought the benchmark up a huge notch!

The sequel to the one of the best games ever created is releasing soon. FarCry2 appears to be vastly improved from the original with physics, AI, and of course graphics that'll make your drop your jaw in awe and of course crush your graphics card to the extreme. The game is scheduled to be released October of this year and is a must have for you fps adventure style players. Also, just like the original, Ubisoft has programmed the game for online multi-player capability, Woot!

So what's FarCry2 about?
Well if you've played the original Far Cry the first thing you notice is were no longer on a lush tropic island with squaking parrots and Jack Carver's patented red hawaiian shirt. Jack's been ditched for this game and his one of a kind charactor will be missed. Were also no longer hunting down biological monster creating villians. This time were in an African like environment with 100% open-world gameplay with one mission in mind, assasinate a weapons trafficer named, The Jackel. Finding this Jackel will be no easy task as the game has a massive environment and with lots of side missions that'll be needed to undertake to earn your way through the encampments and towns. It's stated that there's over 50 hours of game play withi this game so be prepared for a nice long and eventful journey. There's vehicles of all sorts along with things such as hang gliders just like the ogiginal so this is going to be fun playing. I'm know this game is going to be a blast and I've got my reservation already made and would suggest the same if your into this type of game.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is an awe-inspiring synthesis of dramatic storytelling and entertaining gameplay and can only be found for the PS3.
